Hands-On Training
At Safeguard Firearm Training, we offer hands-on training as well as classroom learning. By the end of our courses, you will have a better understanding of proper firearm handling. Safety is our #1 priority, so you can trust you will be in good hands.
Basic Firearm Training
Basic Pistol & Basic Rifle Courses
We offer the full and official NRA Basic Pistol & NRA Basic Rifle courses. These are official 8-hour instructor-led versions with both classroom and live-fire range sessions. If you are brand new to firearms in general, these are excellent first choices. Courses are open to ages 10 and up.
Self Defense Courses
Concealed Carry & PPITH Courses
We offer the official 8-16 hour NRA CCW Student Course in its full and instructor-led. Also, we offer an 8-hour Personal Protection in the Home course. So, If you are looking to get your Concealed Handgun Permit and/or you are looking to gain the skills to safely protect yourself in your home, these are excellent courses. Open to ages 21 and up.
Range Safety Courses
Range Safety Officer Course
The official NRA Range Safety Officer Course is delivered in one day in a classroom format. RSO is available to those who are 21 and older with a solid background in firearms as well as an appreciation for and commitment to firearms safety. This is a great course if you’re looking to ensure the safe use of firearms in your community.
